93 points Charles Curtis, MW (Decanter): "The 2022 Tessons from Michel Bouzereau is delightful, with an aromatic lemon peel and nectarine fruit with hints of acacia flowers and a salty mineral underpinning. The texture was lively and bright, with a pitch-perfect balance between freshness and density. The grapes are from a half-hectare to the east above the village; they are slowly pressed and fermented in cask, where they will age for 16 – 18 months. This wine should open with a year or two in the bottle and drink well for a decade. Drinking Window: 2025-2035. (5/30/23)"
90-93 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "Pale lemon in colour. The bouquet displays a density over and above the other village Meursaults. This cuvée gets the same elevage treatment as the 1ers crus. Not backward but discreet on the nose, while the palate has more in the way of ripe apples than pears. The intensity builds very well to the back of the palate, now with pears as well as the initial apples. A fine fresh acidity completes the job. (Oct 2023)"
90-93 points/'Outstanding,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "An all but invisible application of wood sets off beautifully layered aromas of poached pear, fresh apple, petrol and a plethora of floral elements. The gorgeously textured medium-bodied flavors coat the palate with sappy dry extract while delivering excellent length on the balanced, agreeably dry and beautifully long bitter lemon-inflected finish. This is really quite classy and delivers knockout quality for a villages-level wine. If you can find it, buy it. Drink: 2030+. (Jun 2024)"
