97 points Le Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France 2025 (La Revue du Vin de France): "The Charmes keeps the same olfactory signature [as the Tessons], with a little extra finesse on the nose, more power in the mouth, concentrated, with a lovely lemony finish. (2025)"

92-95 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "An attractive racy pale primrose. The bouquet is fully of energy, this is not too heavy a Charmes, but a fine one. The palate offers an excellent weight of fruit, ripe apples, a little fresh plum, very good grip and a long finish. Smart stuff! (Oct 2023)"

94 points Charles Curtis, MW (Decanter): "Boasting aromas of ripe apple, fresh walnuts and butter, this is a classic Meursault with a broad feel on the palate and plenty of extract, yet there is a marvellous freshness (‘peps’, as the French would say) that drives it to an impressively long finish. The grapes come from a half-hectare in Charmes-Dessus, the best part of this large vineyard. After a slow pressing and light settling, they are fermented on native yeasts in casks with a modest percentage of new wood to maintain the purity of the fruit. Drinking Window: 2030-2060. (5/30/23)"

91-93 points/'Outstanding,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from a .52 ha parcel). A more floral-suffused nose speaks mostly of white peach, acacia blossom, spice and a hint of poached pear. The finer but not denser medium weight flavors possess a refined, even seductive, mouthfeel while exuding a subtle minerality on the youthfully austere and impressively long finish. This is lovely and a wine that should drink well after only a few years of keeping yet should be capable of rewarding up to a decade of keeping. Drink: 2030+. (Jun 2024)"
