91 points/'Coup de Coeur,' La Revue du Vin de France: "In 2023, Jean-Baptiste Bouzereau reduced the use of new oak in his whites (from 25% to 20%). This initiative has literally transcended them: their purity and even greater definition of terroir place them among the paragons of the appellation. The [2023] Burgundy Chardonnay is a wine with a firm structure, boasting the lusciousness of generous fruit and masterful balance. (2026)"

16.5/20 points Julia Harding, MW (JancisRobinson.com): "60% from Meursault, 40% from Puligny. Both 225-litre and 400-litre oak. Fragrant, dusty citrus with unexpected power and density on the palate. Rich, creamy, mealy and deep. Drinking Window: 2025-2028. (1/9/25)"

Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2023 Bourgogne Côte d’Or has a pure and generous bouquet with lovely yellow plum and lemon zest aromas. The palate is well balanced with a lightly spiced entry, lilting yellow fruit and a dab of ginger on the finish. Delightful. Drink: 2025-2030. (Jan 2025)"

Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "60% below Meursault and 40% Puligny-Montrachet, covering three hectares. Quite a yellow colour, immediately plump and juicy with some ripe plum notes. Cheerful fruit but quite warm and not as long as sometimes. Drink young. Citrus with orange peel, fresher when retasted without having left it too long in the glass. Some muskiness. (Oct 2024)"
