The vineyard's soil is shallower and more rocky at the top of the slope, with some iron content that gives it a reddish color, similar to neighboring Pommard. The wine produced from this site is generally described as being more Volnaysian in style, known for elegance and finesse, but with the structure and richness that comes from its Pommard-adjacent location. Expect aromas of bright red fruits, florals, and spice, with an elegant, fresh, and silky texture.
