91+ points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "The 2019 Pommard Village is terrific, unfurling in the glass with aromas of cherries, raspberries, rose petals and sweet spices. Medium to full-bodied, concentrated and chalky, it's the most tightly wound, incisive communal appellation in the cellar, concluding with a long, saline finish. As usual, it mostly derives from the cool, northeasterly exposures of the windy lieu-dit of Valmuriens, where the soils are rich in active calcium. Forget it for a decade and then reap the rewards. Drink: 2029-2055. (Jan 2022)"

91 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2019 Pommard Village has a fragrant nose with dark berry fruit mixed with Earl Grey and undergrowth notes emerging with aeration. The palate is beautifully-defined with fine depth for a Village Cru, slightly chalky tannins and a precise, quite persistent finish. I would afford this 3-4 years in bottle before broaching. Drink: 2024-2045. (May 2022)"
