94 points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "The 2021 Pré Jourdan bottling from Mélanie and Daniel Bouland is another simply outstanding young Morgon. There is a lovely sense of sappiness to the nose here that is quite rare in this vintage, with scents of black cherries, sweet dark berries, dark soil tones, gamebird, espresso, peonies and woodsmoke wafting from the glass. On the palate the wine is pure, fullbodied, focused and complex, with a rock solid core of sappy fruit, great mineral undertow and grip, ripe, buried tannins and a long, tangy and complex finish. Like all of these 2021s chez Bouland, this wine will need some cellaring to start to drink with true generosity, but it is going to be stunning. 2030-2075+. (Jan/Feb 2024)"

92 points William Kelley (The Wine Advocate): "One of the last cuvées to be bottled this year was the 2021 Morgon Pré Jourdan, an impressive effort redolent of raspberries, cherries, sweet spices, rose petals and vine smoke. Medium to full-bodied, ample and fleshy, it's layered and charming, with attractive balance and a long, expansive finish. Drink: 2021-2031. (7/19/22)"
