94 points James Suckling: "Pretty, sweet berry and strawberry with some walnut and meat, as well as dried flowers. Full body and round tannins with a creamy, rounded texture. Plenty of berry and dried meat with some dried flowers. Needs a little time to come around, but very pretty already. (6/10/21)"

91-93 points/'Outstanding,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from a .25 ha parcel that is in the upper portion of the vineyard by Caillerets). A cool, pretty and more floral nose offers up notes of various dark berries, anise, clove and a hint of dried herbs. There is both fine richness and volume to the fleshy medium weight flavors that possess fine depth on the sappy, refined and lingering finish. This is also really quite lovely and very Volnay as it's a wine of lace and grace. Drink: 2029+. (Apr 2021)"

90-93 points Jasper Morris, MW: "First vintage is 2019. I think the label will read En Chevret, but it may be Les Chevrets. Dense dark colour, nose saved from too much of a black cherry jamminess by the whole bunch component (40%). Smooth and supple with good length. (Nov 2020)"
