90-92 points Stephen Tanzer (Vinous): "(the yield was tiny owing to frost): Dark ruby-red. Tight, medicinal scents of cassis, blueberry, mint and bitter chocolate. Very concentrated but clenched and even a bit hard-edged; there's no way into this wine today. The palate-staining but youthfully tough finish displays a strong note of wild blackberry, but its serious tannins are accentuated by firm acidity. Like the Volnay Taillepieds, this wine needs a racking in order to oxygenate its tannins. And it may well require as much as a decade of bottle aging. (Jan 2018)"
