91-94 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "The exception to the Bouchères rule expressed by Messieurs Lafon and Roulot in that Bouchard does not pick this early. It was harvested on the same day as Porusots and Gouttes d’Or. An attractive pale lemon and lime colour. Nothing too exuberant here. A little riper at the finish but still with a predominant fresh apple acidity. Excellent length. (Oct 2023)"
93 points Christy Canterbury, MW (TimAtkin.com) (2024).
91-93 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "Aromas of hazelnuts, pear, white flowers and freshly baked bread introduce the 2022 Meursault 1er Cru Les Bouchères, a medium to full-bodied, satiny and textural wine with a fleshy attack that segues into a layered, concentrated mid-palate, concluding with a long, saline finish. (1/18/24)"
90-92 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2022 Meursault Les Bouchères 1er Cru has a fresh citrus-driven bouquet with Clementine and touches of quince. The palate is very well-defined with crisp acidity. It's not amazingly complex per se, yet I appreciate the texture, with hints of almond and wild peaches towards the finish. Very fine. Drink: 2026-2040. (Jan 2024)"
90-92 points Allen Meadows (Burghound): "A more elegant and more floral-suffused nose shyly reveals its aromas of spiced pear and apple. There is good detail and punch to the relatively delicate middleweight flavors that also exude a subtle minerality on the youthfully austere finish. As is often the case when Bouchères is young, it needs to develop more depth so a few years of patience should prove to be beneficial. Drink: 2030+. (Jan 2024)"
