94 points Christy Canterbury (TimAtkin.com): "Weber said that here is one of the few spots where you are really on the bedrock. As such,it is no surprise that this wine is finessed yet shows evident tension. Cranberries and lingonberries mix with sweet roses. While moderate in body, the staying power shouldn't be dismissed. The crackling acidity and invigorating tannins will give this plenty of time to evolve well in the bottle. (2023)"

94 points Bruce Sanderson (Wine Spectator): "[$170 list] A core of cherry and berry fruit is framed by chocolate and oak spice flavors in this broad, fleshy red, which builds nicely across the palate before ending in a cascade of fruit, mineral and spice notes on the extended aftertaste. Best from 2027 through 2045. 75 cases imported. (2/28/24)"

90-94 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "More crimson than purple, with a lifted nose with strawberry smoky notes from 50% whole bunch. Very pretty indeed. Let’s see if there is enough depth on the palate for grand cru. Yes, there is a delicious weight of cherry and strawberry fruit in the middle with an infusion of white pepper, but nothing dry on the finish. 4 stars if you like whole clusters, three if not. Drink from 2027-2032. (Nov 2022)"

93 points Charles Curtis MW (Decanter): "The Bouchard holdings in Corton at the top of the hill were devastated by the hail – they only picked eight hl/ha. The positive effect of the reduced yield for wine lovers is that the wine produced was enormously concentrated and delicious, with ripe black cherry and plum fruit and notes of mineral, smoke, and spice. The grapes from the 3.5-hectare site were partially destemmed and carefully fermented on native yeasts before ageing in mostly used casks. This wine is one of uncommon purity, concentration, and depth. Drinking Window: 2027-2055. (May 2022)"

91-93+ points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "Cropped at a mere 10 hectoliters per hectare, Bouchard's 2021 Le Corton Grand Cru wafts from the glass with aromas of raspberries, rose petals, sweet spices and orange zest. Medium to full-bodied, deep and concentrated, with powdery tannins and lively acids, it concludes with a long, saline finish. (Jan 2023)"
