Fresh glowing red purple. The nose has gone missing for the moment, but this is very harmonious on the palate, almost with a darkly toasted aspect to it though, just got there in time. 100% whole bunch. (Nov 2020)"

The fruit is destemmed but the berries are left as intact as possible, with a substantial percentage of whole clusters, and the wine is aged in just over 50% new casks. The result has a lovely intensity of blackberry fruit and exotic spice, a firm, finely-honed tannic edge, and substantial extract on the palate. This should age well for decades to come.
