90 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "From bottle, the 2017 Chambolle-Musigny Village confirms its strong showing from barrel, bursting with aromas of raspberries, cherries, sweet spices and dried flowers. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, broad and satiny, with lovely balance and depth of fruit at the core, ripe balancing acids and supple structuring tannins. This is a charming but serious Chambolle that will offer a broad drinking window. Drink: 2021-2037. (4/30/19)"

90 points Bruce Sanderson (Wine Spectator): "[$80 list] The silky texture sets the pace for black currant, blueberry and violet aromas and flavors. Sleek and concentrated, with a lingering, spice-tinged aftertaste. Best from 2021 through 2032. 74 cases imported. (11/30/19)"

'Top Value,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(mostly from Aux Croix). A notably spicy nose features notes of black cherry, dark raspberry and a hint of violet. The sleek, vibrant and nicely voluminous medium-bodied flavors also possess a lovely texture while delivering fine length on the firm, moderately austere and sneaky long mineral-inflected finish. This is presently a bit backward but my sense is that it should be relatively approachable after only 5 years or so. Drink: 2025+. (Apr 2019)"
