Bouchard Chambolle-Musigny 1er cru Charmes 2017

An expressive nose developing red berry notes and a light oaky hint. Tender and delicate, with an elegant structure, this is a wine with a lot of charm. Medium ruby colored. Opens with a musty barnyard, raspberry, cigar box, and cinnamon bouquet with hints of red cherry and violets. On the palate, this wine is medium minus bodied with delicate acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, tight, and savory. The flavor profile is an Earl Grey tea, gentle red plum, and light cedar blend with notes of stony minerality, cinnamon, and loam, with hints of black raspberry, dried strawberry, and rosemary. The finish is dry and moderate grippy tannins build-up and last for a very long time.
