96 points The Tasting Panel: "[$140 list] ...comes from Bouchard Père & Fils' monopole vineyard of almost 9.7 acres in the heart of the Beaune Grèves appellation. With a cherry-bright nose that includes peppermint and spiced oak, rose petals melt on the tongue, drying the palate. Rescued by the juiciness of raspberries, cherries and the acidity of pomegranate, this satin beauty glides to the finish. (Aug 2017)"

94 points Tim Atkin, MW: "Something of a signature wine at Bouchard Père et Fils, this comes from four separate parcels in Beaune Grèves, picked and vinified separately. This is a comparatively warm site, so this is correspondingly ripe and textured, with subtle whole bunch spice, layers of summer berries, haunting perfume and supple tannins. 2020-28. (Jan 2017)"

94 points Wine Spectator: "[$140 list] Lush and vibrant, exuding cherry and blueberry flavors, this ripe red is inviting yet deceptive in terms of structure. The tannins are wrapped in flesh and fruit for now, but should provide support over the next 10 to 15 years. Best from 2020 through 2033. (11/30/17)"

94 points Decanter: "Unusually deep in colour, with a brooding nose of intense black fruits. Broad and fleshy, opulent and flamboyant, but also spicy and lively, showing energy and finesse. The tannins are ripe but still chewy. Complex, sturdy, very long. Biodynamic. Drink: 2021-2042. Alcohol 13.5%. (Apr 2019)"

92-94 points and 'Sweet spot/Outstanding,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from a 4 ha parcel) A discreet though not invisible application of wood sets off highly complex aromas of plum liqueur and a wide range of floral elements that are trimmed in soft spice and earth notes. There is outstanding richness to the full-bodied and concentrated medium-bodied flavors that possess a seductive, even caressing mouth feel before concluding in a decidedly firm, well-balanced and slightly austere finish. This is very clearly built-to-age and should mature slowly over the next 12 to 15 years. Very impressive. Drink 2027+. (Jan 2017)"

91-94 points Stephen Tanzer (Vinous): "Bright ruby-red. Liqueur-like ripeness to the aromas of purple fruits, bitter chocolate and cotton candy; smells very concentrated. Plush and large-scaled, displaying outstanding density and a seriously mouthfilling quality to its dark cherry and dark chocolate flavors. A very tactile, broad Beaune wine with a finish that's ripely tannic and very long--and not at all over the top. The best of an impressive set of Beaune premier crus in 2015. (Jan 2017)"

90-94 points Fine Wine Review: "The Vigne de l’Enfant Jésus was harvested early -- on 3 and 4 September. The wine shows complexity in the oriental spice aromas. The mouth is dense, concentrated, and deep with dark fruit that still needs more time to develop in cask. This will be a wine for the long term. (12/30/16)"

93 points James Suckling: "A 3.9-hectare plot in the center of Beaune-Grèves 1er Cru. A very impressive array of raspberries and red cherries, as well as pastry notes and young leather. Very fresh. The palate has terrific depth and detail, saturated plush fruits. A long red-cherry finish. Drink or hold. (2/15/18)"
