93 points Charles Curtis, MW (Decanter): "The golden-hued Beaune du Château white from 2022 surprises on the initial attack with lemon peel and grapefruit aromas; with time, warmer notes of apricot and quince develop, along with some notes of smoky reduction. The texture is rich yet still vibrant. The grapes are from 10 hectares of vines spread over five lieux-dits: Aigrots, Tuvilains, Les Teurons, Sur Les Grèves, and Les Sizies; they are pressed as whole clusters and hardly settled before being run into cask for fermentation on native yeasts. Picking began for this white on 29 August to preserve freshness. Drinking Window: 2027-2055. (Sep 2023)"

93 points Stuart Pigott (JamesSuckling.com): "Lovely aromas of white peach, ripe pear and white flowers with a discreet touch of lees complexity. However, the fine tannins and chalky character married to them provide an excellent counterpoint to that fruit. Bone-dry with a lovely chalky freshness at the finish. A cuvee from 5 different Beaune 1er Cru sites, matured in small oak barrels, of which just 15% were new. Drink or hold. (6/20/24)"

89-91 points Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(a blend of five 1ers totaling over 10 ha that include Tuvilains, Aigrots, Sur les Grèves Les Cras and Sizies). As is often the case with this wine, there is a subtle exoticism in the form of white peach and citrus confit. There is very good verve and cut to the relatively sleek middleweight flavors that terminate in a nicely dry, clean and youthfully austere finish. I would add that this appears to have the stuffing to reward four to six years of keeping though the mid-palate is sufficiently supple that it could be opened young in a pinch. Drink: 2027+. (Jun 2024)"

89-90 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "Aromas of minty pear, white flowers and buttery pastry introduce the 2022 Beaune 1er Cru du Château Blanc, a medium to full-bodied, rich and fleshy wine that's ample, charming and expressive. (Jan 2024)"
