96 points Antonio Galloni (Vinous): "The 2011 Melbury is precise, aromatic and finely cut, with stunning balance and tons of class. The 2011 is such an elegant wine. This clay-rich vineyard seems to drain quite well. The 2011 is in an absolutely great shape today. Bright red-toned fruit, blood orange, mint and white pepper linger. Drink: 2021-2031. (May 2022)"

96 points Jonathan Cristaldi (Decanter): "Readers may wish to reference my review of 2011 BOND Quella as I get into extravagant detail about the cold, rainy, foggy growing season. I tasted the 2011 BOND wines with Cory Empting and Will Harlan in February of 2024, and the wines were just remarkable. The 2011 Melbury offers heady dried sagebrush notes, currants, and dried tangerine peel aromatics. Plush, with good mid-palate depth and silken textured black currant fruits, spiced plums laced with vanilla-tinged tobacco, dark chocolate, and cedarwood. All these flavours meld together to form a totally satisfying full-bodied expression of Cabernet Sauvignon with the high-toned, capsicum-spiced qualities of the vintage now mellowing and finding nuance through the warm berry finish, which has a bit of a cured meat quality. Lengthy and rich in dried flowers and delicious. Drinking Window: 2024-2040. (2/8/24)"

93 points James Suckling: "A wine with dried mushrooms and chewy, polished tannins. Full body with chocolate, walnuts and a juicy finish. Needs time to soften: better in 2016. (5/14/14)"
