93 points Stephen Tanzer (International Wine Cellar): "Bright red-ruby. Captivating dark raspberry and floral aromas. Dense yet delicate and lacy, with lovely juicy acidity giving the peppery red fruit flavors terrific energy and thrust for the year. A much more feminine style of Volnay than the Fremiets or Caillerets. Finishes pure, peppery, brisk and very long, with lovely lingering perfume. (Mar/Apr 2008)"

93 points Bettane & Desseauve's Guide to the Wines of France: "A fine aroma of hawthorn, impeccable body, refined tannins, an elegant, well-rounded Volnay. (2011)"

92 points Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(25 year old vines) A complex, fresh, ripe and very pretty nose features both red and black fruit aromas, particularly raspberry that is followed by understated but rich, full and sweet medium weight flavors that are textured, elegant and refined. There is a lovely subtlety to this wine with a hint of underlying minerality to the mocha-infused finish, which confers a suave, indeed almost velvety texture to it. Drink: 2013+. (Apr 2007)"
