91 points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "The 2018 Grands Liards was also still in cask on November 11th and it too was showing lovely potential, though this is just a tad riper (13.3 percent) than the above and a sappier wine as a result. The bouquet is superb this year, wafting from the glass in a mix of black cherries, black raspberries, venison, bonfire, Savigny fruitcake, stony soil elements and a spicy topnote. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, focused and quite elegant in profile (particularly for a young Grands Liards!), with a sappy core, good mineral undertow, fine-grained tannins and a long, complex and promising finish. Drinking Window: 2026-2055. (Nov/Dec 2019)"
