The palate is crisp and grainy in texture, again, quite "crunchy" in texture with a liberal sprinkling of white pepper and sage towards the finish. Very fine. Drink: 2025-2040. (Dec 2021)"

92 points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "The 2020 les Fournaux from Chisa Bize is a beautiful wine in the making and is really quite expressive out of the blocks. The bouquet delivers a fine combination of cassis, dark berries, currant leaf, coffee bean, woodsmoke, gamebird and a complex base of soil tones. On the palate the wine is bright, full-bodied and shows off excellent mid-palate depth, with lovely focus and grip, tangy acids and a long, ripely tannic and beautifully balanced finish.
