Sourced from Grand Cru sites in Ambonnay, Pinot's natural intensity comes through in this ample, wonderfully inviting Champagne. Kirsch, plum, spice, dried flowers and brioche race across the palate. 93 points Sarah Mayo (The Wine Independent): "A very faint rose gold color with a fine bead and vinous appearance, the Millésime Grand Cru Brut 2018 is 80% Pinot Noir and 20% Chardonnay tête de cuvée wine from 50+ year old Ambonnay vines that is vinified in stainless with no malo lactic, aged 48 months on fine lees and finished with a six gram per liter dosage. Expressive aromas of red berry compote, Comice pear and red apple peel with crushed wet stones and a whiff of cherry ice cream lead into a vivacious, medium-bodied palate lit up with spirited acid freshness, red fruit purity and a shimmering salinity that lingers on a long, buoyant finish.
