92 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "The new release of Billiot's NV Brut Cuvée Julie—once again derived from the 2010 vintage and dosed with six grams per liter, but this time disgorged in October 2019—is showing well, wafting from the glass with aromas of pear, smoke, clear honey, crisp stone fruit and subtle hints of toasted notes. Medium to full-bodied, layered and concentrated, it's racy and incisive, with tangy acids and real mid-palate depth, concluding with a saline finish. Drink: 2020-2034. (3/31/21)"
92 points Audrey Frick (JebDunnuck.com): "Assertive in its nature, the NV Champagne Cuvée Julie Brut is made from equal parts Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from the 2016 vintage and was raised in used French oak and spent 60 months on the lees. It pours a medium yellow hue with aromas of yellow flowers, marasca cherry, orange custard, and marzipan. It is dense with concentration on the palate, with driving acidity and notes of salted citrus, preserved Meyer lemon, and chalk. There is a broadness despite its driving acid. Drink over the next 20-30 years. Drink: 2022-2052. (11/7/22)"
