95 points Tyson Stelzer (The Champagne Guide): "(2018 base vintage; tasted in 2022 in France; 40% chardonnay, 30% pinot noir from the Montagne de Reims and Grande Vallée de la Marne; 30% meunier from the Vallée de la Marne and southern slopes of Épernay; less than 8% pinot noir red wine predominantly from Mareuil-sur-Ay; 40% reserves; vinified in stainless-steel tanks; aged 36 months of lees; 9g/L dosage; DIAM). Billecart is a shining beacon for rosé of elegance and character, and its lofty reputation is secure when it unleashes wines like this 2018 base. A pretty pale salmon hue heralds a rosé that captures the mood of Mareuil-sur-Ay pinot noir and meunier; perfectly elegant, while delivering no shrotage of character, presence and undeviating persistence. Red fruits are the unabashed theme here, celebrating the expression of the ripe and pure 2018 season in fresh cherries, raspberries, wild strawberries—you name it! There's a compelling touch of cracked pink pepper, and a lift of rose petal, too. Succulent and caressing yet tangy and lively, a wonderful beam of pink grapefruit acidity is underlined by confident, prominent, salty chalk minerality of magnificent form. Line and length to boot confirm another benchmark Billecart Rosé...and I am completely besotted! (Edition VII; 2024)"

94 points Bettane & Desseauve Guide (2025).

93 points Audrey Frick (JebDunnuck.com): "Seven percent red wine added to the blend to make the NV Champagne Brut Rosé, which is based on the 2020 harvest and is 45% Chardonnay, 25% Meunier, and the rest Pinot Noir, with about 45% reserve wine. A classic pink salmon hue, the nose is classic and pretty with notes of fresh peaches, raspberries, roses, and chalky earth. Medium-bodied and rounded, it’s approachable and fresh in style, with lovely purity and a pretty feel throughout. It’s delicious now but has the ability to age with ease over the coming 10 years. Disgorged in the first quarter of 2023, 4.7 grams per liter dosage (although interestingly, they are now including the total grams per liter, in this case 5.3 grams per liter in the final wine) Drink: 2024-2035. (12/20/24)"

93 points James Suckling: "A succulent, delicious and precise brut rosé, made of chardonnay, pinot meunier and pinot noir. It has notes of wild currants, peach skin and mild spices. It’s medium-bodied and vivid with fine bubbles and plenty of succulence. Sour cherries and redcurrants on the palate. Fresh acidity and a comforting, fruity character to the delicious finish. Drink now. (7/19/24)"

92 points Yohan Castaing (Wine Advocate): "Aromas of rose, peony, red berries and guava preface the NV Brut Rosé, a medium to full-bodied, elegant and vinous Champagne rosé that concludes with a long, ethereal finish enhanced by menthol notes. A blend of 45% Chardonnay, 35% Pinot Noir and 20% Pinot Meunier, it's based on the 2014 vintage with 46% vins de réserve from nine different vintages and the addition of 6% as a red wine, vinified and matured in stainless steel. Dosage: 4.7 grams per liter. (10/24/24)"

92 points Wine Spectator: "A seamlessly knit rosé Champagne, integrating a vivid backbone of acidity and a lightly chalky underpinning with the fine, detailed perlage. Offers notes of nectarine, white cherry, toast point and orchard blossom. Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. Disgorged fall 2023 (My Origin 201281). Drink now. (11/30/24)"

92 points Tom Hewson (Decanter): "Based on the 2020 vintage, Billecart-Salmon's signature rosé appears to be on its finest form of recent years under cellar master Florent Nys, full of fragrant, crunchy redcurrant, red cherry and orange fruit with an alluring hibiscus-like floral lift and subtle green peppercorn spicing. The Meunier wraps the intensity of the vintage base in a little softness that keeps the focus on effortless ease (helped by the selection of delicate Chardonnays and young, fresh reserve wines), all adding up to a rosé of immediacy and charm, sweet-natured without sweetness and fragrant without overt fruitiness. 40% Chardonnay, 30% Pinot Noir and 30% Pinot Meunier. Drinking Window: 2024-2027. (4/11/24)"

92 points Falstaff: "Delicate salmon pink. Open aromas, red berries, lemon, white flowers, subtle pomegranate. Positively sparse on the palate, elegant with fine perlage, subtle melting and a chalky-salty impression. Finishes slightly salty with berry and citrus notes. (10/4/24)"

92 points Sarah Mayo (The Wine Independent): "Based on the 2019 vintage with 43% of reserve wines from the previous 5 years, the Billecart-Salmon Brut Rosé NV is 43% Chardonnay, 33% of old vine Pinot Noir of which 7% is still for the blend, and 24% Pinot Meunier. Aromatically fresh and vibrant with bright, red berry, citrus peel and verbena blossom notes leading into a somewhat savory and lean, light to medium-bodied palate with lively acid coiling around oodles of citrus freshness and juicy raspberry notes before concluding with hints of marmalade and honey on the finish. Beautiful and balanced, it leaves you thirsty for another glass. Lot: L84478. Alcohol 12.5%. Drink: 2023-2028. (11/8/23)"
