93 points Wine Enthusiast: "A sophisticated wine (a blend of the three Champagne grapes), this is a new release from this producer. It is dry, but the ripeness of the fruit offers a fine balance with the crisp, green-apple texture. Let this bottling age a few months and drink from 2021. Alcohol 12%. (Dec 2020)"
92 points Falstaff: "Light golden yellow. Fresh pome fruit on the nose, citrus, nuances of freshly pressed grape must, subtle spiciness, some straw. Elegant on the palate with a very fine perlage, nuances of butter and brioche, again spicy. Finishes long and juicy with a pleasant salinity. Alcohol 12%. (10/4/24)"
91 points Tyson Stelzer (The Champagne Guide): "(Tasted in 2021 in France; 30% chardonnay, 30% pinot from the Montagne de Reims and the Grande Vallée de la Marne, 40% meunier from the Vallée de la Marne and the southern slopes of Épernay; 2016 base vintage; around 55% reserves from 2015, 2014 and 2012; vinified in stainless steel tanks; full malolactic fermentation; zero dosage; 100,000 bottles; DIAM). This is a Brut Nature in a spicy and toasty style of medium straw hue and fine, white chalk salt mineral tension completing a dry and taut finish. Subtle strawberry and red apple fruit holds good persistence. (Edition VII; 2024)"
91 points La Revue du Vin de France: "The Brut Nature is very well managed, with a different autolysis, for a balanced finish. (2022)"
91 points Wine Spectator: "[$65 list] Firm and minerally, this tightly meshed Champagne carries delicate notes of orchard blossom, Asian pear, toast point and oyster shell on the finely detailed mousse. Drink now. (10/31/21)"
90 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "Billecart's newly released NV Brut Nature exhibits aromas of fresh bread, crisp orchard fruit, almond paste and ripe citrus fruit. Medium-bodied, pillowy and precise, it's crisp and bone-dry, without being in the least austere. Drink: 2020-2028. (Sep 2021)"
90 points Jeb Dunnuck: "The base of the NV Champagne Brut Nature is from the 2015 vintage, with 40% from 2013 and 2014, and 15% perpetual reserve started in 2022. It pours with a light golden ad copper hue, and is fragrant with golden yellow fruits of pear, chamomile, and a touch of raw honey. There is a rounded feel up front, although it is fully dry, with more yellow apple, bruised Myer lemon, and chalky texture driving down the palate. I feel this wine will develop a bit more quickly although it is in a good place now or over the coming 10 years. Drink: 2022-2032. (11/7/22)"
