94 points Andy Howard, MW (Decanter): "Ethereal and perfumed, perhaps more delicate than Billaud's Blanchot but every bit as dynamic and elegant. The aromas range from ripe pear to greengage plums with hints of acacia flowers and spice. The grapes come from vines more than 60 years old near the border with Bougros, gently pressed, fermented on native yeasts, aged partly in cask and partly in tank. This will show best if one waits at least five years, and should drink well for a further 20. Drinking Window: 2030-2050. (9/11/25)"
92-94 points Kristaps Karklins (Wine Advocate): "From some 60-year-old vines, Samuel Billaud’s 2024 Chablis Grand Cru Les Preuses is one of the more ethereal, oceanic wines in the range, opening with notes of white flowers, lemon oil and Granny Smith apple mingling with marine nuances and warm stones. On the palate, it’s medium- to full-bodied, bright and incisive, with ample chalky structuring extract, culminating in a long, sapid finish. (Jan 2026)"
