95 points Christy Canterbury, MW (TimAtkin.com): "Crisp, taut and thoroughly minerally, this is killer Preuses. Yellow plum, honey blossom and tilleul explode from the glass. Dynamically fresh and complex, there is a strong mineral component that springs up on the lengthy finish. The structure is firm but nicely molded around the solid fruit core. This is very tasty already and will deliver even more with time! (2025)"

93-94 points Kristaps Karklins (Wine Advocate): "Samuel Billaud's 2023 Chablis Grand Cru Les Preuses is sourced from 65-year-old vines and is produced from purchased fruit. Although Preuses sits atop Bougros, it’s a cooler site and tends to produce wines with more finesse. Already quite expressive, in the context of this stony climat, it soars from the glass with a bouquet of white flowers, lemon zest and oyster shell. On the palate, it’s medium to full-bodied, layered, elegantly textural and bright, with incisive acidity and a long, searingly chalky finish. (3/6/25)"
