98 points La Revue du Vin de France: "Les Clos 2021 appears almost sweet on the nose, with a hint of exotic fruit such as fresh pineapple. Juicy and fleshy, even unctuous on the nose, it develops a more floral perfume. It evokes the sweetness of a sorbet rather than lemon pulp or zest. A fine wine for laying down. (2024)"

95 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "There are only 300 bottles of the 2021 Chablis Grand Cru Les Clos, but the wine has turned out superbly, mingling aromas of citrus zest, clear honey, white flowers, wet stones, freshly baked bread and iodine in a classically Chablisien bouquet. Medium to full-bodied, deep and chalky, with prodigious reserves of dry extract, racy acids and a long, saline finish, anyone lucky enough to taste it will be delighted. (9/7/23)"

95 points Allen Meadows (Burghound): "Moderate but not invasive wood is present on the cool and distinctly reserved nose of iodine, mineral reduction, citrus, Granny Smith apple and quinine. Once again there is outstanding volume to the powerful, compact and quite serious larger-scaled flavors that also brim with a borderline aggressive minerality on the youthfully austere, chiseled and strikingly persistent finish. I would suggest not even thinking about opening a bottle of this beauty for at least 5 years. Drink: 2033+. (Aug 2023)"

94 points Christy Canterbury, MW (TimAtkin.com): "In complete contrast to the Preuses, this is a firm, rather four-square Grand Cru that will benefit from cellaring. Today it shows citrus peel and crunchy apple fruit that is concentrated on the mid-palate yet still very primary. I would give this seven or eight years, just as a starting point. (2023)"

93 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2021 Chablis Les Clos Grand Cru has a very composed bouquet with slivers of fresh Conference pear, smoke and flint, a hint of saffron emerging with time. The palate is supremely well-balanced with a tangy entry. It’s fresh and vibrant with a strict and energy-driven finish, a dash of spice and stem ginger emerging on the aftertaste and leaving the mouth tingling. Superb. Drink: 2025-2045. (Sep 2023)"

18.5/20 points Julia Harding, MW (JancisRobinson.com): "One barrel only (three years old). Fermented in barrel and finished in tank. Cask sample. I start to taste this but I still have the taste of Preuses in my mouth. This seems a little riper, richer, more full-bodied, but still has fabulous length and tension with a long, salty finish to balance the fruit intensity. Incredible length. Drinking Window: 2027-2045. (1/10/23)"
