91-94 points/'Outstanding,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(this is essentially an old vines Fourchaume). A deft but not invisible application of wood can be found on the more restrained if otherwise similar nose. As is usually the case, there is more volume and power to the medium weight plus flavors that coat the palate with dry extract while delivering very fine depth and persistence on the balanced and quite firm finish where the wood evidenced by the nose resurfaces. This too is really quite lovely and worth checking out. Drink: 2027+. (Nov 2020)"
93 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "A particular success, Bessin's 2019 Chablis 1er Cru Fourchaume wafts from the glass with aromas of lemon oil, wet stones, fresh pastry, beeswax and iodine. Medium to full-bodied, satiny and tensile, with racy acids, terrific depth at the core and a long, mineral finish. This is built to age. Drink: 2025-2043. (Aug 2021)"
