90-92 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2023 Vosne-Romanée Village, taken from tank, is more reticent and backward on the nose, demanding coaxing from the glass. It offers darker fruit than the Fixins and is a touch tertiary in style. The medium-bodied palate features fine tannins and seductive dark berry fruit mixed with white pepper and a hint of cola. Very refined and persistent, this is a classy Vosne Village. Drink: 2026-2036. (Jan 2025)"

91 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "Bottled last week. More crimson than ruby, with an energy of mixed red berry fruits. The fruit, mostly strawberry, maintains nicely through the palate with a slightly softer oakier finish, but note that this has just been bottled. Fine persistence.(Nov 2024)"

89-91 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "The 2023 Vosne-Romanée Village is also a strong effort, revealing aromas of sweet red berries, orange zest and spices, followed by a medium to full-bodied, ample and powdery wine with a saline finish. It's the usual blend of Réas and Rivière. (Jan 2025)"

90 points/'Outstanding,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from Aux Réas and Au Dessus de la Rivière with a tiny amount of Basses Maizières). A wonderfully spicy nose freely proffers its aromas of various dark berries, violet and exotic jasmine tea. The gorgeously textured, even velvety, medium-bodied flavors are at once succulent but punchy while delivering fine length on the bitter pit fruit-inflected finish. This balanced effort could also use better depth so again, some patience should prove to be beneficial. In short, this is an excellent Vosne villages. Drink: 2031+. (Jan 2025)"

90 points/'Very Good,' Steen Öhman (Winehog): "A classic Vosne (a blend of Reas and Au-Dessus de la Riviere). It has a deep fruit quite delicate and unfolds some red and dark fruits … Vosne spices and a lovely fruit. Lively and vivid but I could perhaps dream of a higher percentage of wholecluster. Drink from 2027. (12/1/24)"

Bill Nanson (Burgundy Report): "(2 different parcels assembled, no wc – some very old vines that are slowly being replaced but the average is still nudging 50 years old.) A little less colour. A more airy red fruit with a small spice. Large in scale – again lovely energy and a really great, open, freshness. Some lip-smacking finishing bitters bring a good counterpoint. Again delicious wine and I’d wait a couple of years before attacking – the Gevrey doesn’t need as much time though… (May 2025)"
