93-95 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2023 Vosne-Romanée Les Petits-Monts 1er Cru was due for racking and so understandably it is a little sultry on the nose, more introspective than it will be after bottling. The palate is medium-bodied with ripe and succulent dark berry fruit laced with graphite and orange rind. More structured than Les Suchots with more weight toward the finish, this is an sophisticated Petit-Monts that will give 15 to 20 years' drinking pleasure. Drink: 2027-2047. (Jan 2025)"

93-95 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "Her grandparents had the vines running across the hillside, while Amelie’s mother and aunt bought plots running more conventionally up and down slope. How lovely to have multiple plots of Petits Monts! There is more depth to the purple colour and more energy to the fruit on the palate, some red- and black- currant as well as the berry fruit, very long, with fine hillside freshness and acidity. I find the finish much longer than Les Suchots. (Nov 2024)"

93-95 points/'Very Fine,' Steen Öhman (Winehog): "The Petit Monts is one of my favourite wines from this estate. The 2023 is vivid and lively with very fine tension and energy. It is effortless and refined and the 2023 gives the wine a beautiful lift. Love hedonistic fruit and feel. Drink from 2032. (12/1/24)"

91-93 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "Even more ethereal than the Suchots, the 2023 Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Petits Monts offers up pretty aromas of red berries, rose water and spices, followed by a medium to full-bodied, melting and saline palate that's pure and elegant. (1/30/25)"

Bill Nanson (Burgundy Report): "(0.5 ha – in 5 different blocks – ‘most planted before my grandfather so we don’t know how old’ – just one small part is aged 10. The vines were initially divided between the Gerbets and Sirugue-Gerbets, now divided in three with Amélie and two others, but Amélie is renting one of those portions back. ‘It’s very special for us, not just because it’s so well placed, but some of the parcels pre-date my grandfather – and of course, all is done by hand as we can’t get a tractor in there. For two years some work with a horse, have the ‘troye’ from Switzerland – and it’s a bit too physical for half a hectare. I still use it for ‘amusement’ but in a small parcel.’ This year (2025) trialing a drone for treatments…) A higher-toned, more direct perfume – ever more beautiful with time in the glass. Extra wide, layered, mouth-watering – almost some orange-skin bitters. Finishing with some salinity. I love it – potentially a great wine. (5/27/25)"
