93-95 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2019 Vosne-Romanée Les Petits-Monts 1er Cru has more intensity and slightly darker fruit compared to the Les Suchots, but it shares the same enthralling delineation and focus. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins. This displays exquisite balanced, a little tight on the finish but it is supremely well focused with a very persistent, lightly peppered finish courtesy of the 20% whole bunches. Wonderful. Drink: 2023-2040. (Dec 2020)"
91-94 points Jasper Morris, MW: "Mixed purple in colour, quite a light bouquet that needs searching out. A little reduction. 20% whole bunch. This is in a very backward stage. There’s a good concentration of fruit on the palate, currently a drier finish, but it is certainly going to blossom later on. This is still at an awkward stage of its evolution, and may well develop in an even more positive fashion. (Nov 2020)"
90-93 points/'Outstanding,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "Firm reduction renders the nose impossible to assess at present though there is good freshness to the sleek, vibrant and mineral-driven middle weight flavors that deliver fine length despite the presence of grippy tannins. This is a bit awkward though it should come together as the tannins seem ripe and thus my projected ranged confers the benefit of the doubt. Drink: 2031+. (Jan 2021)"
