89-91 points/'Outstanding,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from La Burie, Les Crais, Combe de Dessus and Chézeaux). A wonderfully fresh and bright nose freely expresses its aromas of wild red berries, earth and a touch of the sauvage. Once again there is a lovely sense of underlying tension to the chiseled and sleek, if not super dense, flavors that exude a subtle bead of minerality on the moderately austere, balanced and lingering finish. Some patience strongly advised as this is quite compact. Drink: 2031+. (Jan 2023)"

89-91 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "Medium depth of crimson purple. The bouquet suggests a fine and pure pinot but just not very giving. This is very fine though in the mouth, with alpine strawberries, a wine of delicacy and finesse, which should develop very well from here. Drink: 2025-2029. (Nov 2022)"

89-91 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2021 Gevrey-Chambertin Village is a blend of three parcels, though 50% is Au Combe de Dessus. With 20% new oak, it has an attractive wild strawberry and red plum bouquet. Impressive focus. The palate is medium-bodied with finely-tuned tannins, quite vibrant and lively, orange rind and touches of black pepper furnishing the finish. Give this a year or two in bottle. Drink: 2024-2034. (Jan 2023)"

Bill Nanson (Burgundy Report): "An extra beam of direct aroma here – lovely and different. A little extra structure with a different, more mouth-watering, style to this flavour – almost seamless – just a little finishîng structure to remind you of the experience. Beautiful wine again… (1/16/23)"
