90-92 points/'Outstanding/Top value,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from a .96 ha parcel in both Les Arvelets and Les Hervelets). Very mild reduction shaves the top notes off of the otherwise very fresh and ripe earthy and gamy dark currant aromas. This is almost pungently mineral in character with a lovely sense of vibrancy to the delicious and delineated medium weight flavors that deliver beautiful depth and length on the well-balanced finale. This is also really quite a lovely effort and worth checking out. Drink: 2024+. (Jan 2016)"

90 points Stephen Tanzer (Vinous): "Full red with ruby tones Perfumed aromas of iron and spices Juicy and energetic, conveying distinct red soil notes of plum, iron and tobacco Nicely savory, fine-grained wine with good balance and a firm spine of ripe acids and tannins There's an almost Syrah-like wildness to this wine's spice element Drink: 2021-2028. (Mar 2017)"

90 points Decanter: "Appealing nose of cured meat with a rich, textured palate and a spicy finish."

Bill Nanson (Burgundy Report): "Deep colour. Reduced, a little gas too, but this is lithe wine that slides nicely over the palate. Plenty of tannin, but barely grained and nothing dry – like all here so far. Fine fresh finishing fruit flavours. This will be super. (Nov 2015)"
