94-96 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "Picked first, so 60% whole bunches were included before Amélie realised that this wouldn’t work for space reasons. Paler ruby with a more orange tint. The whole bunches give their characteristic aromatics. Very stylish elegant wine, a little crushed alpine strawberry, not too peppery, with a long savoury finish. Amélie noted that she likes to use whole bunches for aromatic reasons rather than tannins and structure. (Nov 2024)"

94-95 points/'Outstanding,' Steen Öhman (Winehog): "The Echezeaux is a quite unique wine, as it includes 60% whole clusters. The fruit is very sumptuous and rich …an almost silky feel. It is velvety with a hedonistic glow. A rich and seductive Echezeaux but not the most mineral or complex wine from this vineyard. But … nothing wrong with seductive and hedonistic – it works for me! Drink from 2035. (12/1/24)"

93-95 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2023 Echézeaux Grand Cru comes from three tiny parcels. It was picked on the first day of harvest, so it includes some stems (60%). The whole cluster character shapes the nose, with black pepper and touches of oyster shell infusing the red cherry and strawberry fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins and crisp acidity, lightly spiced with touches of black pepper toward the finish. This a classy, fresh and quite delicious Echézeaux. Drink: 2027-2045. (Jan 2025)"

92-95 points Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from a .20 ha holding in Les Treux, Quartiers de Nuits and Champs Traversin; vinified with 60% whole clusters and no new wood in 2023). A stunning nose freely reveals its notes of red cherry, currant and raspberry liqueur along with a variety of pretty floral nuances. Here too there is a super-sleek mouthfeel to the naturally sweet and precise medium-bodied flavors that possess terrific intensity on the impressively persistent, linear and focused finish. Like several of the wines in the range, this isn't especially dense but the length is seriously good. Drink: 2035+. (Jan 2025)"

93-95 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "The 2023 Echézeaux Grand Cru wears its heart on its sleeve, bursting with notes of orange zest, raspberries, exotic spices and incense. Medium to full-bodied, ample and fleshy, with an enveloping core of succulent, perfumed fruit and melting structuring tannins, it concludes with a saline finish. (Jan 2025)"

Bill Nanson (Burgundy Report): "(3 small parcels; Treux and Quartiers de Nuits, plus some Champs Traversins higher near the wood – 0.21 ha in total. ‘This year’s the most we ever made – 4 barrels – none new – if we have less than 5 barrels there’s never any new oak.’ First harvested with 60% whole cluster – Lavaux harvested at the same time with the same profile as this – the lighter colour probably due to that.) Starting airy and clearly with a very different – more rose – perfume. A little extra bitters and depth to this wine – really elegant with the young strictness – sapidity – of the whole clusters. It’s another beauty. – the finish bursting across the palate – finishing with an ultra-fine – almost powdery – tannic texture and not really any dryness. I could drink it today, but it will be great in 20 years… (7/23/25)"
