92-94 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2019 Clos Vougeot Grand Cru, matured with 20% whole bunches, has a tightly wound bouquet with dark berry fruit suffused with fine mineralité. The palate is medium-bodied with fine grain tannins, a taut line of acidity with hints of dark truffle and a subtle charcoal note towards the finish. Fine grip in the mouth, this should mature nicely over the next decade and more. Drink: 2024-2045. (Dec 2020)"
91-94 points Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from a .31 ha parcel; 60% whole clusters). Here too there is enough reduction to blur the distinctiveness of the underlying fruit though it clearly seems ripe. Otherwise there is excellent volume, intensity and definition to the delicious medium weight plus flavors that possess a caressing mid-palate that contrasts somewhat with the punchy, muscular and youthfully austere finish. This overtly structured effort will require ample patience. Drink: 2034+. (Jan 2021)"
