From a 0.3 ha plot near the Route des Grands Crus, planted in 1987. Partial whole cluster. Ambient yeast fermentation in concrete vat. 1-2 pump-overs per day with a few punch-downs at the end of fermentation. Malolactic fermentation and aging in barrels (30% new).
Not yet reviewed; 2021 vintage rated 90-92 points by William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "Delicate and perfumed, the 2021 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Plantes exhibits pretty aromas of peonies, red berries, plums and orange zest. Medium-bodied, ample and satiny, with a seamless, melting profile and an expansive, fragrant finish, it will be hard to resist on release."
