95 points Georgina Hindle (Decanter): "Strongly scented with florals and dark purple fruit. Glossy and ripe, its fruit pulsing with energy. Juicy acidity and stony minerality add depth and tension. Nuanced, vibrant and expressive, extending vertically with precision and finesse. A really delicious wine that's fresh and full of personality while still having a powerful backbone. Drinking Window: 2026-2046. (12/15/24)"
94 points Jane Anson (Inside Bordeaux): "(57% Cabernet Sauvignon, 39% Merlot, 4% Petit Verdot). Focus on powerful black fruits, delivers both length and grip, clear Cabernet Sauvignon dominance, mint leaf and cocoa bean, this is great quality, enjoyable, a touch of austerity on the finish that suggests it could do with a few years of bottle ageing. Plenty of Pauillac character despite being on the edge of the appellation in AOC Haut-Médoc. Jean-Philippe Fort consultant, 33% new oak for ageing. Owned by Vignobles Dourthe since 1979, and they have completed a big replanting programme, vineyard age on average 40 years, so things are really in its stride, and this now delivers consistently excellent quality wine. One to look out for. Alcohol 13.5%. Drink: 2028-2040. (12/12/24)"
94 points James Suckling: "Very perfumed with blackberry, violet and ink character following through to a medium body and extremely integrated tannins that are lightly chewy and really long. I am impressed with its cool nature and quality phenolics. A blend of 57% cabernet sauvignon, 39% merlot and 4% petit verdot. Some of the cabernet and merlot are co-fermented. Needs three to five years of bottle age to begin. (11/21/24)"
92-94 points Jeff Leve (The Wine Cellar Insider): "Black currants, chocolate, licorice and espresso fill the perfume. On the palate, the wine is fresh, sweet, creamy and polished. The tannins are soft, the fruit is sweet, and pure, with ample lift in the finish. This is the best vintage of Belgrave I have ever tasted! Drink from 2026-2042. (May 2023)"
93 points Antonio Galloni (Vinous): "The 2022 Belgrave has an attractive, refined and focused nose with a pencil box-infused black fruit aroma. The palate is medium-bodied with a fleshy opening and fine acidity. It’s not complex per se, yet it boasts plenty of freshness on the finish, plus the sapidity to urge another sip. This is recommended. Drink: 2027-2044. (Feb 2025)"
93 points Peter Moser (Falstaff): "Dark ruby garnet, purple reflections, delicate ochre rim. Some velour and nougat, fine cherry fruit, a hint of cassis. Juicy, balanced, ripe tannins, good freshness and complexity, mineral on the finish, a versatile food wine with further development and certain ageing potential. (Jan 2025)"

92 points Chris Kissack (Winedoctor): "This is 57% Cabernet Sauvignon, 39% Merlot and 4% Merlot, and it kicks off with a rather drily structured and traditionally poised nose, the fruit fragrant and savoury, with aromatic notes of desiccated berry, tobacco and toast all spiced with powdered chalk. The palate really takes it up a notch though, showing a sweet and rich texture, with an underpinning of ripe tannins, giving the palate a wonderful frame and grip. The finish is dark and gently toasted, with dry currant and berry skin fruits, piles of smoky, toasted, ripe and tightly knit tannins, with a vibrant acid backbone. This is a very nicely composed showing from Belgrave, with a long grip in the finish. It surely has cellar potential. Tasted twice. The alcohol on the label is 13.5%. (Dec 2024)"
