91-94 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "One barrel = 35 hl/ha. The colour is particularly vibrant, with a pink edge to the purple. the bouquet is really rather classy, without the wilder edge of this sector, pure fruit with some flowers on top. Perhaps a light pepperiness too, and certainly this finishes fresher even with a citrus/blood orange note. Promising. Drink from 2026-2033. (Nov 2022)"
93 points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "This may well be the finest young example of les Sentiers that I have ever tasted. This premier cru lies on the border with Morey St. Denis and is sometimes a bit of an outlier stylistically from so many other premier crus in Chambolle, so that when it is young, it does not always exude the same sense of style and grace as other vineyards. But, this is not the case with this beautiful 2021, which delivers a complex aromatic blend of cherries, blood orange, beetroot, a gorgeous base of soil, woodsmoke, gamebird, a touch of oak and a topnote of mustard seed. On the palate the wine is pure, full-bodied and beautifully balanced, with a sappy core of red fruit, gorgeous transparency, fine-grained tannins and a long, seamlessly balanced finish. A beautiful wine. 2033-2080. (Nov/Dec 2022)"
91-93 points/'Outstanding,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from a parcel that measures only .08 ha). The elegant nose is spicier still with earth-tinged fruit that runs more to the red side of the spectrum. The more refined middleweight flavors also exude evident minerality on the focused, youthfully austere and lingering finish that flashes just a bit more depth. Lovely. Drink: 2031+. (Jan 2023)"
