92-94 points/'Sweet spot/Outstanding,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from a .23 ha parcel of 45+ year old vines). An airy, pure and wonderfully elegant nose freely offers up notes of red current and blue berry, anise, rose petal and spiced tea. There is good muscle and solid power behind the super-sleek medium weight flavors that evident excellent length on the very tightly wound, dusty and youthfully austere finish. This excellent if decidedly compact effort is also going to require extended patience but it should very much be worth the wait as it's really lovely. Drink: 2034+. (Jan 2021)"
91-93 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2019 Chambolle-Musigny Les Baudes 1er Cru is beautifully defined on the nose of black and red fruit intermixed with oyster shell and iris scents. You could lose yourself quite easily in these aromas. The palate is medium-bodied with quite strict, firm tannins framing black fruit laced with iodine. A rather enigmatic Chambolle that will only reveal itself with bottle age. Drink: 2024-2038. (Dec 2020)"
90-93 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "Middling depth of purple. The bouquet is quite backward, riper fruit on the palate, tougher tannins behind, this finishes a little dry, on the sturdy side. There is perhaps a touch more alcohol. 3.5 barrels made. (Nov 2020)"
