92 points Antonio Galloni (Vinous): "The 2022 Chianti Classico Gran Selezione Castello di Brolio is a seriously beautiful, elegant wine. Ample on the palate, with gorgeous freshness, the 2022 is also very complete. Cedar, sweet pipe tobacco, macerated cherry, liquorice and mocha are some of the many nuances that start to take shape with some coaxing. What a gorgeous wine this is. Drinking Window: 2025-2037. (Jul 2025)"
92 points James Button (Decanter): "One of four Gran Selezione – all from the UGA of Gaiole – Brolio is the estate’s flagship. While the other three are single ‘cru’ expressions, this is a blend of four parcels on diverse soil between 400m-490m. Colli, which sits on alberese, makes up the backbone and gives the wine its sturdy structure. Aromas recall smoky struck stone with vanilla over wild woodland strawberries. Savoury rather than sweet, the palate progresses with earth and forest floor. It is effortless in flow with lots of zip to the acidity. Satisfyingly familiar. Drinking Window: 2025-2031. (4/6/25)"
