On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, complex and beautifully textured, with superb focus and balance and lovely grip on the tangy and ripely tannic finish. Between the ripeness and the ample extract this could easily be top heavy but in fact there is excellent focus and balance. Villages level wines are rarely found at this quality level. Drink: 2015+.
