91 points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "The 2021 Côte de Nuits Villages from Denis Bachelet is truly excellent this year and it is too bad that there will be such a paucity of bottles in the market. The bouquet is deep and sappy, wafting from the glass in a mix of black cherries, sweet dark berries, woodsmoke, bitter chocolate, dark soil tones, a touch of oak and roasted meats. On the palate the wine is pure, full-bodied, long and vibrant, with a good core, seamless tannins and a long, complex and classy finish. Lovely juice. 2027-2045. (Nov/Dec 2022)"
