90-92 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "The 2020 Côte de Nuits-Villages wafts from the glass with aromas of cherries, cassis and dark berries, framed by a deft touch of spicy oak. Medium to full-bodied, lively and concentrated, it's deep and sapid, with tangy acids and a long, penetrating finish. As I've written before, if there's a sleeper in the portfolio of this sought-after domaine, this cuvée—from the lieu-dit Queue de Hareng in Brochon—is it. (1/20/22)"
91+ points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "The 2020 Côte de Nuits Villages chez Bachelet is another truly excellent wine and this is going to be one of the steals of the vintage. The aromatic constellation reveals a panoply of sweet dark berries, cassis, grilled meats, coffee bean, a fine base of soil tones and just a touch of vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is sappy, full and complex, with a marvelous core, lovely dark soil undertow, suave, buried tannins and a very long, well-balanced finish. This is a wine that the value-conscious Burgundy lover should make an extra effort to tuck away in the cellar! 2026-2050. (Nov/Dec 2021)"
91 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2020 Côte de Nuits-Villages has a mixture of raspberry preserve, bilberry and light undergrowth scents on the nose that is slightly more backward than the Bourgogne Rouge. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins, fresh with blood orange notes complementing the vibrant red fruit on the finish, a dash of black pepper on the aftertaste. Drink: 2024-2036. (May 2022)"
