The aromatic constellation reveals a panoply of sweet dark berries, cassis, grilled meats, coffee bean, a fine base of soil tones and just a touch of vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is sappy, full and complex, with a marvelous core, lovely dark soil undertow, suave, buried tannins and a very long, well-balanced finish.
