The bouquet is pure and really quite impressive, offering up scents of black raspberries, cassis, grilled meats, coffee bean, a fine base of dark soil tones and a smoky topnote. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and nicely sappy at the core, with a good underpinning of soil, moderate tannins and fine focus and balance on the nascently complex finish. 2029-2040.
