97 points/'#36 Top 100 Wines of 2025' Kerin O'Keefe: "Lavender, dark spice, Mediterranean scrub, perfumed wild berry, pipe tobacco and new leather aromas come to the forefront on the gorgeous Argiano 2021 Brunello. Solidifying their role as one of the denomination’s top producers, this is focused, refined and loaded with intensity, delivering layers of black cherry compote, juniper berry, licorice, cocoa and blood orange accompanied by a backbone of fine-grained, well-integrated tannins. It’s still young but already beautifully balanced, with fresh acidity. Drink 2031–2039. (Nov 2025)"

96 points Ian D'Agata Wine Review: "Good full red. Perfumed aromas of blackberry, red cherry and licorice are complicated by a truffley quality plus a strong note of blood orange. Velvety and rich, with a saline nuance to the highly concentrated red berry and citrus flavours. Finishes with strong, noble tannins and excellent length. Very well-balanced and compact, but bursting with flavour in a very Argiano way. Drinking window: 2030-2040. (Dec 2025)"

94+ points Eric Guido (Vinous): "The 2021 Brunello di Montalcino is dark and intense, with a smoldering bouquet of ashen stones, grilled herbs and dried black cherries. It is surprisingly energetic and lifted in feel, with racy red berry fruits and rosy inner florals that form a truly satisfying experience. The 2021 is pleasantly chewy and long, leaving a coating of fine-grained tannins and a nuance of tart blackberry. Drink: 2029-2040. (Nov 2025)"

94 points James Suckling: "Aromas of cherries, orange blossom and white cedar with a hint of juniper follow through to a medium body, firm and silky tannins and a bright, polished finish. Linear and tight. Lovely length. Succulent and satisfying with a crisp finish. From organically grown grapes. Best after 2027. (Jan 2026)"

94 points Raffaele Vecchione (WinesCritic.com): "Very open on the nose, it displays notes of black cherries, red plums, wild strawberries, and lemon peel. Medium-full body, rounded, well-extracted tannins, and an engaging and flavorful finish. Best from 2027. (Oct 2025)"
