The 2019 still shows a bit of its oak (about 20% new) when first opened, yet it comes together beautifully in the glass. The wine demonstrates a sweet and spicy red and black berry character, ripe and crunchy with petrichor and earth notes on the finish. It has a nice, round body and it makes for a versatile red.
