92 points Josh Raynolds (Vinous): "(28% new French oak) Deep red. Powerful black raspberry, cherry cola and potpourri scents show very good clarity and pick up a mocha nuance with air. Fleshy and concentrated but energetic as well, offering appealingly sweet red and dark berry, floral pastille and spicecake flavors enlivened by a zesty mineral flourish. Finishes smooth, sappy and very long, featuring repeating spiciness and rounded tannins. Drink: 2021-2027. (Jan 2018)"
