The 2019 Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore Vigneto Giardino Rive di Colbertaldo Dry (which was disgorged in September 2020) is a soft and graceful expression that extends over the palate like pressed silk. The bouquet offers peach, white flower and some candied lemon peel, with a hint of rock salt or crushed mineral. Dry or asciutto wines have a pinch of sweetness that is conducive to that general softness. This is always one of my favorite wines from Mr. Prosecco himself, Franco Adami. Drink: 2021-2024.
