Full-bodied and supple, it finishes long and silky. It should be approachable upon release but drink well through 2040, as it possesses ample concentration and plenty of ripe fruit. While not a second wine in the traditional sense, it does incorporate lots that don't end up working in the single-vineyard wines, and it's priced below them. Drink: 2023-2040. (9/15/22)"

Shows solid grip too, with a strong loamy tug through the finish as the fruit pumps along. Approachable for the fruit, but there's no rush here. Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, Merlot and Malbec. Best from 2024 through 2036. 270 cases made. (8/31/23)"
