Medium ruby-purple in color, it takes its time to unfold on the nose, fresh strawberries and raspberries emerging over time with accents of dried lavender, tar, forest floor and licorice. The medium-bodied palate is firm and super fresh, youthfully coiled but hinting at much, more to come, and it finishes with great length. Give it another 2-3 years in bottle. Only 40 cases were made.
