96 points Audrey Frick (JebDunnuck.com): "Similar in appearance, the 2021 Chardonnay EGW (“Extra Good White”) takes on a touch more flinty reduction, with a great balance of ripeness and tension in its notes of ripe peach, lemon zest, and white flowers. Medium to full-bodied, it has a beautiful waxy texture but the acidity to cleanse the palate. Citrus oils, almond, and more mouthwatering freshness can be found on its long finish along with a lacy note of custard. Drink 2024-2034. (Sep 2023)."

95 points Charles Curtis MW (Decanter): "The ‘Extra Good White’ (EGW) is an equal blend of Dijon clone Chardonnay from the Eola-Amity Hills for tension and old-vine Wente clone Chardonnay from the marine sedimentary soils on the opposite side of the Willamette Valley for power. The combination is a beguiling balance of vibrant freshness and exotic aromas. The wines are aged for a year in cask (half new) and six months in barrel to produce a polished, elegant result.
